Theatre and Live Performance

There is no escaping our emotions. They transport us through each day, colouring our thoughts, directing our actions, shifting our very reality from moment to moment. This site-specific performance, with 'living installations' dotted across the rooms and passageways of Max Mueller Bhavan, aims to pay homage to states of being that every human being goes through.

For a collaboration with BMW, a living gallery was born. Portraits, frescoes, and statues came to life when the audience walked in, sparking an unexpected encounter full of discovery and wonder.
The aim, in short, was Freude (joy) Forever.

The world’s first-ever immersive and interactive Indian classical dance theater experience - where the audience moved from room to room experiencing the 4 yugas of Vedic history. Featuring Bharatanatyam, kuchipudi, kathak, contemporary dance, live music, theatre and film, this performance reimagines Indian performing arts beyond the confines of the stage - drawing the audience into the scene itself, where they become part of the world unfolding around them.

For HSBC’s Circle of Excellence 2025 in Vietnam, Crow created a four-act musical centred around the ancient guardian spirits of Vietnam. Song of the Cosmos is a vocal symphony with six performers, each cast as an element within the cosmos: Dark Energy, Nebula, Sun, Desert, Ice, and Ocean. They come together to sing the story of an epic journey: from the Big Bang and the creation of the universe to the emergence and evolution of life, and a vision of the future.

For the April Fools’ Fest 2019, we teamed up with Bira to celebrate their partnership with the year’s Cricket World Cup. We had a variety of cricket-themed acts spread out across the festival area, including a posse of shady (but very shiny) bookies, a pair of smooth-talking commentators, and umpires with some seriously fancy footwork! The acts ranged from highly interactive to pure visual spectacle. They started off one by one, at different parts of the festival grounds, until they all came together in a climax on the main stage, where Bira’s partnership with the World Cup was announced.

We welcomed guests to the grand store launch of "Shivan Narresh" in Delhi. To commemorate this special occasion, we introduced a whimsical race of cloud people, encapsulating the carefree essence of the resortwear brand. These imaginative characters represented a perpetual holiday, embodying the brand's spirit of adventure and relaxation.

Staged in an abandoned building in Okhla and developed with support from the Gujral Foundation, the Emporium opened its doors at the India Art Fair 2018. The mythology of the show is centred around fictitious communities that exist on the fringes of cities, who trade with one another at the Emporium. A commentary on capitalist consumerism and the times we live in, the audience enters a fantastical world in which the unusual can be bartered for, candles are a prized currency, and the apocalypse is an inevitability.

A collaboration between choreographer Frances Arthur and set designer Vanya Vaishnavi,  this distinctive dance piece  thoughtfully examined the coming-of-age experience employing the metaphor of a road trip to convey the themes of shedding masks and building character.
